Dream Analysis

Welcome to our Dream Analyzer page.

As I have stated elsewhere on this website, my interest and fascination in dreams as a method to overcome issues was afforded me by patients. It was when I started to really examine what they were telling me was going on in their dreams that I began to see the links to the very reasons they were presenting in therapy.

Over time, I have come to believe that THE reason humans dream is that these symbolic storylines help us find answers to the riddles of life. These impressions only seem to appear when the person is ready. However, there is a decided difference between being primed for an answer by the unconscious, and that particular individual accepting it.

This is quite odd in my view, I mean, here we have this raw gold available to us yet we fail to refine it to work it to its full worth. It’s like we know it means something, we know it has a deeper connotation, but it just sits there like a family heirloom in the attic - we pay no attention to, yet at the same time, know it’s of some value for some reason.

This got me thinking – why do people not seek to refine their “raw gold”? If the imagery that takes place while we sleep can help us in EVERY facet of life, if it can be so powerful as to transform us inwardly to help us make more sense of our lives outwardly, why do we not dedicate the time to unearth the riches? Then it came to me... it’s not that people don’t want to, it’s that they don’t know how!

Subsequently, I am in the process of writing an e-book that I will make available on this site. This book outlines how I personally go about deciphering dreams, and to be honest, I have found it particularly difficult to write because the concept is so abstract.

As Jung once said, a person can’t learn dream interpretation from a book, and I believe he is right. However, I believe there is a formula one can use to embark on the journey of dream analysis. As such, my e-book will not be a “look-up the meaning” document; it is a step-by-step manual using examples from my therapeutic practice as to what you can do to start discerning the meaning of your own messages.
