Letter

A letter in a dream at its most basic indicates the sending or receiving of a message. If the letter contains good news, it may indicte that someone close to you has an important message for you. If the letter brings problems, it may be indicative of a struggle in waking life. If the letter is from the bank, then this would indicate financial difficulties that need to be resolved.

Lock

Dreaming of a lock may indicate an inability to get what you want. You are being locked out of a situation or kept away from a person. It may also mean that an aspect of yourself is locked up inside yourself and needs to be expressed.
